Stevenson MS PTA is still looking for a few good men!
Stevenson MS PTA is still looking for a few good men!
We have started up the “National Center for Fathering’” “Watch D.O.G.S.” Program, in an effort to make our campus more inviting to volunteers and family, and most importantly, safer. However, we need more good, male role-models, to come help out in 1 1/2 hour shifts. This is SUCH a great program, for both kids and their male family members. It brings them all closer. And you know how they say middle schoolers don’t like seeing their parents at school. It’s a LIE. They’re secretly excited to have you there. Never fear.
Watch D.O.G.S. isn’t limited to just Dads of Great Students – No! Step-Fathers, Grandfathers, Uncles – Positive Male Role-Models, who want to help, and have a few hours a year to volunteer. AND who have passed the NISD Background Check – VERY important part of being a Watch D.O.G.S.
Questions? Information needed? Contact our “Top D.O.G.” Paul Montemayor.
Stevenson MS is a BOXTOPS School!!!
Stevenson Middle School
is officially now a Boxtops School. Our Volunteer Chair, Eva, has recruited Lori, to be the Boxtops PAL! Please, start collecting Boxtops, and send them into school, for your child’s Advisory class! Look for papers to adhere them to, in your child’s binder. Or? Send in bags of Boxtops to the Front Office! There’s a collection box there as well. Lori will be tallying up boxtops every 6 weeks.
Every single one of those little squares is $.10, and it adds up quickly! We’d love to see a “free” 3K or more come to our school because we have the BEST students in Northside!
